There are also dept salesplan numbers for some things in softlines, but I don't map them out enough to have them memorized.

Danke! You have an amazing mind to remember all that! =)

WOW you two are amazing for posting this. It's going to be so helpful!

I'm a new SLTM and i've noticed a lot more unisex/gender neutral items coming in into infants/girls/boys. Every time I notice these items, they have the dept # 033. Have either of you noticed this at all? My TL's and fellow TM's look at me funny when I mention it.

31 usually used for I/T girls, and 33 for I/T boy.
77 is seasonal shoes, slippers, and boots
29 maternity
217 I/T swim and outerwear
206 newborn
202 boy/girl accessories
205 girls bottoms
222 boy/girl swim and outerwear
46 boys
75 boy/girl sleep
79 Men's
26 watches
215 jewelry

I only use a few numbers, I figure if I can get things as clothing, seasonal, cleaning supplies and a # for food.....at least things are somewhat placed in a department.

The queen has spoken! (Agreed, though). I only know that for sure because of scanning bacon (and sorting MTCL below MEAT when possible)

This is GREAT information!!!

Is there, by chance, a list on workbench by department number? Or, has someone placed it on Wiki?

I'd like to help out the softlines / apparel team members with a small business sized card, laminated that would list the department number and category for the items found in RTW, womens, mens, boys, girls, toddler.

Thanks!

016 I think is Moss Supply RTW too
017- Mossimo Supply RTW
018- Merona RTW (phasing out)
020- Sleepwear (maybe intimates too?)
021- Ava & Viv
025- Hosiery
031- I think is infants. Some are also 033 I believe
032- Girls
036- Pretty sure is girls
039- Boys C9
040- I think is men's accessories.
041- Men's C9
043- Men's Mossimo Supply, I think Merona as well, if not 044
061- Women's Accessories
076- Boys Cat & Jack
093/096- Shoes. One of them is women's and one is kids. Not sure which one.
214- Women's C9
238- Women's Swim
259- Mossimo Black (phasing out)
281- Men's
282- RTW Xhil
316- Knox Rose

Hope that helps :)

016?....I think you mean 014 (women's denim/mostly mossimo black and denizen)

Knox Rose is a brand in RTW that not all stores got... some got Who What Wear or Knox Rose and some got both.

We had like one rack of Knox Rose left, and now we have like 10 (in addition to Who What Where). There's barely any Mossimo Black right now.

Softlines POG/SPL #s

020 - Sleepwear SPL
022 - Intimates/Panties SPL/EC
023 - Intimates/Bras SPL/EC
026 - Watches SPL
036 - Kids Basics SPL/EC
040/044 - Mens Basics SPL/EC
122/136 - Baby Hardlines SPL/EC
124 - Hosiery SPL
129/077 - Shoes SPL/EC
161 - RTW SPL (But they've also used 018)
162 - Men's SPL
163 - Boy's SPL
164 - Girls SPL
165 - NIT SPL
167/214 - Women's Performance SPL
202 - Kids Accessories SPL
217 - NIT Accessories SPL
209 - Accessories SPL
215 - Jewelry SPL

I think that's all of them... Though I don't think Jewelry and Watches are tied to SPL anymore since they now have a vendor taking care of them.

My store only got Knox Rose when it came out and we have a lot of it now. The other store near me got Who What Wear so we get that brand whenever a guest returns it at my store. My store has one tiny rack left of Moss Black and Who What Wear

I sadly do too. Being a PTL you learn it all through the POG numbers

Likewise... I set all the POGs in softlines in my stores so I know all the dept #s and POG #s (in Softlines) by heart. I've been doing this for a few years now so the numbers just sort of stick.
