There's word over on /r/Target that flex payroll is being done away with. Can anybody here confirm if that's true or not?

If so, what's the new procedure for determining payroll gonna look like?

Spot finally realized that if they keep cutting hours from sales floor and other crucial positions that guest service and store opinions was going down the shitter.
By fucking off with flex payroll they can always have a semi-consistent schedule that makes sure that there is always some form of guest service on the floor that can aid in helping guests find things and making sure the store is always stocked.

Payroll is still based on forecast. You can still gain hours for flex by making sales. You just won't lose them because it hurts the store even more like the previous post shared

It is one of the better ideas to come down the pipeline recently. Negative flex was ludicrous. I just hope they accurately allocate payroll hours to make the end to end processes work and provide that guest experience and not entirely slave the hours given to sales forecasts. Yes, that's a huge factor, but minimum hours are needed for consistent execution regardless of sales.
