What are the duties of a food ave team leader these days? Seems to change with each new team lead.
 
If your store is anything like mine, running Food Ave all by your lonesome and occasionally shutting down to cover GSTL breaks.
 
It really depends on your store and FA setup & volume.

- Possibly create the FA schedule
- Possibly assist in watching the front for breaks
- GSTL backup
- Receive and distribute the FA updates
- Ordering the necessary food and supplies.
- Assure FATMs are following proper FA protocols.
- Organizing the daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
- Cleaning beyond the normal cleaning schedule.
- Contact equipment service companies.
- Implement state and local health and safety checks.
- Be able to open and close FA.
- Conduct Food Ave inventory
- Take the sanitation and safety courses
- Take any additional training courses
- If its a Pizza Hut FA, then you have to monitor and implement the required Pizza Hut quota.
- Track and keep temp records
- Track and keep waste logs

Basically the FATL is the work horse TL for the front. Asked to do as much as possible within the shortest amount of time.

Weird, we don't have a FATL, and our FATM's do most of those things.
 
at my store. creating schedule. gstl's don't want to cover your breaks or fill gaps because you don't know how to schedule.
after that order. etl's don't want to get supplies from different stores.
outside that train new team members.

food ave should be self sufficient. you only need help for change.
