service plans for a leappad? what else can you put a service plan on?

They've been trying to push service plans at the lanes in my store, but none of us can ever remember which items are eligible (plus we have a lot of those don'tgiveacrapaboutmyjobIhateithereI'msoboredandIdon'tknowwhatanESPis cashiers), so you can probably imagine how that goes...

As far as Softlines goes if it has sequins we sell out in a heart beat I'm also low on the stupid velour track suits? Idk how tis the season to be a tacky grandma?

Leap pads, Figits, and Loopsies are big this year. Kindles, Xbox, and Ipads are popular for the bigger kids.

We had a couple guys come in and buy all our leap pads before Thanksgiving. On the way out they were bragging about selling them for double or triple the price on Ebay.

At my store, Monster High, Legos (big surprise there...) Barbie Fashionistas, and anything that comes in a box that requires a giant bag have been popular. Not sure about electronic items though, I haven't talked to anyone back there lately.

What's the deal with the Leap Pads? Why are they so popular?
