Hello Everyone! I worked for Target for about four years until 2005 as a team member, specialist, and team lead. Over the past decade I've worked for a few other retailers as a specialty store manager, district manager, and most recently as a big box general manager. I've wanted to come back for quite some time and finally took the plunge, starting now as a logistics ETL. Bit of an adjustment from my DM/GM gigs, but I'm happy for the change and looking forward to being part of the red and khaki crew once again. I've been a lurker on this board for ages, so I know a ton has changed over the years, and I'm looking forward to getting back up to speed.

Welcome back!

I have never met a lazy logistics ETL yet. What kind of process is your store?

Thanks for all the welcomes!

HRZone, the store I am going to is a 6am process store. I will be training in one of those and I believe a 4am location as well.

Kaitii, because I am a masochist. Well, that's probably why I enjoy working retail. But as for Target specifically, I know Spot's not perfect, but having worked at other retailers for years I know there's far worse out there. Most of what I disliked previously came down to individual poor leaders. As a company, Target's got a solid plan and long term stability, and I enjoyed the majority of my time there previously. Whether it's a great or terrible experience comes down to what kind of environment the STL/ETLs, and to a lesser extent DTL, create. Looking forward to making a positive contribution towards that.

Redzee, good song but no for me it's a Billy Talent song reference from their first album.
