When an ETL always asks you to do certain things in other areas? ( like if I am i dairy and the ETL asks me to go do a few things in meat or produce areas in not trained for is that good to see from an ETL, and there were plenty of other people he could have asked but he asked me.

And is it good to also see that you get scheduled in areas you are not trained for. Like today I am in another department on request from their TL. Is that good?

Cross training is always a good thing. I would tell the TL or ETL that I'm not officially trained for that area, but chances are they will throw you into the mix anyway. Jump on it and learn from it.
