Hi! I’m having my orientation in about two weeks, and I was hired for a position in “fulfillment”. I have a few questions and I would greatly appreciate if you could answer them. Thanks!

1. How long is orientation?

2. What does “fulfillment” imply. What will I be doing, etc? Does this position require me to be in the sales floor, or in the back room?

3. What are the average shifts like in my position?

Orientation is about 4 hours. Flexible Fulfillment means you'll be fulfilling the online orders. You have ship from store, ship to store, and OPU/Driveup. Your job duties could vary depending on which part of the process you're assigned to. At my store I give my OPU tms 40 Hours per week.

Someone who is in OPU is trusted.. so even if they only get 32 hours OPU.. I’ll throw in a cashier or service desk shift in there. Sometimes I utilize them to cover my breaks and lunches if we schedule a mid OPU.
