I always lurked on the old site and am happy to have this one. I am a 3 year Target gal who started out as a specialist then a gstl and now am a high po srtl consumables and being prepped for an etl position by year end. I am lucky to have an stl who believes in internal promotions but it is def 10x harder than external hiring and I knew that going in. Luckily as a srtl I am treated as an etl and am held to etl standards to make what I hope is a smooth transition soon. I tell everyone internal promotion can happen but you have to work extremely hard at it
