My friend said he was non rehireable at target because he received unemployment for being wrongly fired is it legal for a company to do this.

He's lying - you cannot change someone to unrehireable after they have been terminated as rehirable.

If he was fired with cause he isn't eligible for unemployment.

To be eligible for unemployment you have to be laid off, seasonal etc.
 
Actually, if he was fired with cause and fought it to get unemployment and he won, then the state forces Target to make him be rehireable. However, if he reject that job offer then they can change the status. At least in Oklahoma.
 
You can fight the reason they gave for firing you to Unemployment if it is bullshit so you can get you unemployment checks.
I did and won.
But it won't change what they put you down for in their system unless you go to the labor board and fight the firing itself.
That is a way more complicated process.
