New to working with online Plano and twt. Can someone give me key things I should be looking for within these tools for setting sales planners, electronics street dates, ad rotation. My training was really poor and I'm having trouble recognizing dept numbers, where to place ad rotation, and how to generally use the tool. I know how to tie and set, its more of mapping out and deciphering locations. Trying to learn on the fly, but definitely hitting some bumps. Not on a very helpful team, so any guidance would be great.

Review your learning plan. You didn't say if you are a tl, Plano, or electronics specialist. The online Plano planner will say where it goes front or back, lead in to the aisle, etc. you can review the Plano adjentcy book too.

I killed your thread in General Chat.
Please only post one thread at a time on the same topic.

Sorry, I originally posted it in the wrong area. I'm a Tl....who's really struggling because of lack of training.

It's OK, understood. Let's see if we can get you some help.

The planogram TL and/or ETL-Hardlines should have the adjacencies for each division (pets, stationery, chemicals, toys, etc). These are maps of the departments. They will show where all aisle should be set and about a year ago they added in where all sales planners should also be set.

Salesplanners start in the 100s as far as numbering goes. Ad rotations start in the 400s. You should be responsible for certain divisions in the store which will have sales planners for multiple departments. I'm the CTL in my store, so I have grocery and pets. My salesplanners fall under D120-snacks, D121-pets, D140-supertarget, D144-frozen, D145-dairy/cooler, and D147-grocery something or other. I also have D403-grocery and D421-pets for ad rotations. You'll need to ask your ETL what departments you are responsible for. I'll write more later if someone else doesn't get to it.
