My store mailed me a card signed by all the etls for having perfect attendance during 4q. I have to walk and bike in the snow and cold so when it actually came in the mail I considered using it as toilet paper

2.5 years and I've never missed a day... I see where you're coming from, and it makes sense... I still don't think that should be rewarded with anything beyond a small giftcard or little perk though, showing up to your scheduled shifts is a job requirement IMHO, not the mark of an excellent team member.

I'd rather see people awarded for things that make them top performers (top cashiers for speed and service, fastest store pull times, most price changes completed, etc etc.) Showing up to work when you're required to be there doesn't exactly scream "excellent!"
