Going back not many years, I shopped at target every Saturday for years. They had theses "target dog gummies" that i bought every time I went there.

They suddenly disappeared and I could never find even a peep about them online. Not one picture, not anything-- at all. An employee told me that they were "stopping" or selling them I forget exactly what she said.

Anyway, its frustrating i cant anything about it online. Have anyone els seen these?

They were dog shaped gummies red, green, ect.

I remember them. They used to be at The checklanes and Food Avenue. We discontinued them years ago. The only reason I can think of, and the only thing that matters to Target really, was the cost to produce them. It was probably more expensive to manufacture and package Target exclusive fruit gummies than just use a generic shape. The company that Target now gets the fruit gummies from probably manufactures them for other retailers and just uses the same mold for all of them which would be cheaper than using a special Spot mold for Target.

I don't know how much more the Spot fruit gummies would have to sell for to make the margin decent enough to carry them, but it was just one of the little touches that made Target different from other retailers and is now gone.

Do you remember the Target Eye Openers? These were cinnamon mints in a red tin which was about two inches in diameter, sold only at the check lanes. About 10 times stronger than Altoids, the mints were maybe 1/8 inch in diameter. I miss them.

I would require a reminder picture or something. You should be able to find a picture, no? my point is that just about any candy that left shelves is usually pretty easy to find online. That is what separates these dog shaped gummies from the majority.

The only picture I have is one I just took with my phone. I found an unopened tin in an old, old purse when I was cleaning out a closet. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to find them online. 😉
