The store I worked at went through the P-Fresh remodel last year. Wasn't that bad of a procedure, it did take a while, though. The store was a P97 prototype before, so they had to make quite a few changes to get the store in line with the P09 prototype.

I dunno the store types but they had to move EVERYTHING in my store all except for HBA moved. The rest is now in a different place lol. Its like a completely different store!

Everything moved at my store as well, except for Softlines.

Yeah. And being in Assets Protection having electronics move really sucked lol.

I was gone at school while my store remodeled last January-March. I think I'm glad I missed it, but at the same time...how many times does one get to experience a remodel?

Then again, I've experienced three turnovers/planoramas/VIG/grand openings...

Haha yeah we just had our VIG today... Glad I was opener today so that instead of working it I could just roam around during it lol.

Wish our was easy! But its over now so I guess I can't complain TOO much lol. I like the new look and I also like the whole PFresh idea. Our sales skyrocketed just after it was finished and became available!

So nice to be back!

My store (well the one I worked at) is in the middle of their P fresh. 95% of the signage and end cap headers have been installed. Grocery is already moved over with the respected asile markers hung above and that back wall of G being blocked off. They moved seasonal to the back wall and covered up the stock room door so now its just a wall with a shelff. They took a good chunk out of Sportswear for the temporarily fitting rooms as they are ditching the round fitting rooms for the square ones. A co worker told me the new fitting rooms are gonna be Co-ed so it doesn;t matter what side you go on. I guess thats alright. Single father can finaly go in with his daughter.

Looks real nice. No new check lanes nor starbucks. (Not holding my breath on that one) They did give guest service a nice coat of gray and Pharmacy used to be green is now a red and gray color.

But its kind of funny that the other store in town that opened in 1994 had a p-fresh remodel but they kept the fitting rooms from the 2001 prototype but just gave it some new paint. The one I worked at is getting a whole new set. Maybe because the store is a few years older and is smaller?

Barely anything in my store moved during the remodel (not sure of the prototype - I think it opened in 98). Our sales skyrocketed when our p-fresh opened, but we actually got more guests than we expected during the remodel because another store near us kept moving everything and the guests got mad and came here instead. :-D

Unless you had a remodel before your store may have had the 1997 prototype. Thats if the store had the red, blue, green and yellow block signs and the funky neons.

we just finish with moving dry grocery from the beg. of gblk to the back end of gblk ..we are moving into cosmetics this wk... bless my remodel team..lol..but i've seen the new beauty innovation and it looks really attractive.so far we have not run into problems with the remodel that is huge that it impacted our business...im not to brag but i do believe we are running a great remodel in my store...that biggest obstacle was moving home improvement from F BLK to the C BLK for the home innovation..which btw those woodgrain focals are super attractive. grand opening at end of july..

I like to add that I like that they placed a directory and give out store maps to people. Sort of helps out.

I'm disappointed that my store wont get a starbucks. I live real close to target but not a starbucks. July 24th is when the remodel ends and its already mid June. The cafe remains with its 2001 look. They are also keeping the old check lanes. Guess P-fresh took a big chunk out of the budget. (that along with them remolding 400 stores)

Does anyone know if Target is aiming to bring all their stores to the mordern prototype?

Wait till they are finished. My store is a former greatland & I am loving the big change. Hard at first & things settle down. It is all good.

Went in again to see the changes. Place stunk because they installed new carpet in softlines and the fact softlines just was painted and the new wall things were installed. The new fitting rooms look to be almost finished.

Over all its a huge improvement from just 3 months ago.

My store had the P-Fresh rollout a couple years ago already as we were one of the first stores to have it. Funny thing is I still get guests that ask where stuff is, as they hadn't been in the store for a while.

Only remodel we are getting right now is the Cafe, which I don't get because we already have Pizza Hut Express, and from my understanding we are NOT getting Starbucks. It will, however, be shut down for a couple weeks so I don't get what the heck they are going to be doing to it. The other two Targets in my area DO have Starbucks, but they are newer stores. I don't see my store getting one though as Barnes and Noble on the other side of the strip has one in there already.

Speaking of the other Targets in my area (the greater area has one north and east of my store), the one on the north side of town IS getting a P-Fresh update now, and they are pulling some TM's from around the area to help with the rollout. The OTHER one on the east side already had P-Fresh when it was built as it is the newest store in the area.

We are in the process of remodel to PFresh now. I am so impressed with the smoothness of how it is going and the cooperation between the remodel and "regular" teams. I can't believe how much is being accomplished in such a relatively short time. Unbelievably, our sales and scores are remaining fairly consistent throughout the process. I think our biggest opp has been the electronics move which has seen the biggest dip in scores. I have also heard some negative guest comments about the size of the shoe dept. reducing and having the closed boxes. (Also a problem for instocks since it's difficult to tell what is actually in the box or whether or not there is actually something in the box.) I do think that these are balanced by the positive comments regarding our upcoming fresh food area.

My original store i just transferred out of is getting a food ave remodel and getting starbucks. sadly no permits were filed so food ave is empty and closed off.. anyone have this problem?

Yeah that was my biggest gripe when my store remodeled, the selection of men's shoes and work boots went to pot. My dad used to always get his work boots from Target, and they used to carry those awesome steel toed MACK boots. Sigh... hopefully they bring the work boots back.

The Super T that I work at opened back in 2002, according to my old GSTL we are supposed to be getting a facelift next year sometime. The front end is in desperate need of new register boats.

same here it is more difficult to keep up with the stack a shoe area from what i heard from the salesfloor team. but then again in my store the shoe specialist could not even keep up with the old way...shoes has been the biggest opp in our store since our old shoe specialist quit . but anyways im also surprise the way its been going smooth in our store,we actually have the best remodel so far that the district has had, their was only one store in our district that struggle but that was only because they had a 100% full remodel since they still had the 90s style. but anyways i cannot wait for grand reopening our sure our sales will be good because we been a store that guest all the time have said "why dont yall carried any fresh groceries". so yes pfresh is a must in our store

All I know is that my store was due for a remodel, guy from corp came by with this weird camera thing, then a week later we weren't going to be getting a remodel 'til at least 2012 and realistically 2013.

Our store was a prototype when it opened in 2001 so apparently it was super up to date or whatever then, now it just looks kinda old and worn.
