Archived Shift covered, edit was not made, am I accountable?

So this has happened a few times in the last few weeks, I am having shifts covered, however the edits for them were not being made when we notify a LOD ahead of time. Could I still be held accountable for whatever reason seeing how that edit was never made but the shift was covered?

As long as an lod signed off it's fine
