Someone told me that if you got access to you TGT email you could get 50% a case at Speck.com
Has anyone heard anything about this or how to find out what your target email is?

Have you tried the My Discounts site on eHR yet? You might be able to get it through there instead.

Only TLs and above have access to the Target Email. I guess some specialty TMs do as well, but not many.

Signing Ninjas and SFTs have emails.

at my store, the SFT is a TL

Yeah, I keep reading about that.
Having a hard time getting used to the concept.
Our SFT was the most awesome handyman in the world.
Could fix anything and was always willing to help out no matter what the problem was but he was the kind of guy who didn't care much for blueprints and hated filling out paperwork.
Our store was immaculate, the envy of STLs all round and when SFTs went on vacation or got fired we always had to share our guy.

He wouldn't have made it as a TL but he was an amazing SFT.
So what is the point of changing the core role of the job?

To maximize the use of available payroll by globalizing team members and diversifying their workload beyond what was traditionally in their work center.

SFT's acting as Team Leads.
Salesfloor TM's instead of hardlines/softlines TM's.
AP TM's who spend 10% of their time doing store tasks instead of 100% of their time doing AP tasks.

I could go on, but you get the point. SFT's certainly aren't immune to the expanded core roles/global model that Target has been changing to over the years.

In the words of @SFTOnThree "How does Spot reward good work? By giving you more work."

Followed by @redeye58 "More work, less pay."

Don't forget GSAs! PAs and Receivers don't have e-mail, do they?

Oh, we're always forgotten...unless things to to hell...then we are suddenly remembered.

I read the title and thought Target bought the spec's liquor store and we could get a discount. I got real excited when I read 50% off a case!

Wow! Hands down best job ever! Our guy deserves it though since he was in the trenches for a looooooooooong time.

If you're a HRTM, GSA, Receiving, Signing, PA, AP, or a leader in the building, it's typically [email protected]. Other team member positions (front end, sales floor, brand, back room, etc) don't have active email addresses.

Edited: I used the wrong form of "your" the first time lol.
