Why is the Target 20mins from my home advertising the new starting wage at $17.50 whereas the one I work at 6mins away is $16.50?!

They recently upped the pay for some stores in areas with higher costs of living. Is the farther away store closer to the city center/a more expensive area?

They just wanna lie to more people probably like most other stores cus everyone is replaceable, act friendly to your face then fuck you later unless you suck up to them or it’ll be because you are someone that isn’t lgbt or white or a soft ass. I been telling people for a while it’s not worth working here unless you are one of those kinds of people because management will take care of you for that or can deal with so much bs. It’s just more political theatre corporate bs.
