don't use SUBT, use LOCU, then STO everything else back into the location. Its what I've been doing for the past 3 months and it has greatly improved our location accuracy.

You know, they say exfs mess up the accumulator, we're no longer allowed at our store, but they're huge on shooting your own outs batches... Which show up in under exf

Using LOCU doesn't reset the accumulator, does it?

it does actually, but if the stuff is already sitting in backstock and all you are doing is rebackstocking it, then it will have a very minimal effect. It does have a big effect though if there was a baffle in that location - but in that instance the accumulator would have eventually been reset by the audit.

Audit and locu are the same, right? That's why you get the same warning message? I guess the audit is actually recording something since it tells you how many errors you fixed.

Kind of... the audit uses LOCU as the program to fix the errors, and then it records the difference between what was in the location before the audit and what was scanned as being in the location during the audit. Or if there are non-quantitized items in the location that are supposed to be quantitized (usually as a result of a baffle) it will record either a baffle error against the team member who originally caused the baffle or it will simply show an updated count.

Normal LOCU is just a tool to clear out a location. I use it all the time if I have a larger box or item that won't fit into any of the spaces I have.

From what I read and heard, when the new myDevices (iPods instead of PDAs) roll out, RF Apps will no longer exist. I will now take cover in a deep hole for the Sh!t storm this is going to start

well thats fine, as long as corporate switches from a "send all available inventory to stores" system to an actual point of sale ordering system, and essentially eliminates the need for backrooms there shouldn't be any problems.
