Hey! So, new to the site, and new to Target (third day of training is tomorrow). I've had a wrist injury for about 9 months now and I just went to a specialist yesterday and discovered I need surgery. He said it can be put off, but not for long or it will be get worse. The thing is, he said that once I have the surgery, I will have to take at least two weeks off work and then be in a cast/splint. I'm seasonal right now, in Softlines.
Should I put off the surgery until Christmas break from college?
Or maybe near the end of August, before I go back to school? I feel like that option would be a hassle because I go to school two hours away from my hometown and would have to drive/be driven back to get the cast off, etc.
Or get it over with? I'd like to get rid of the pain, but I also don't like the idea of taking two weeks off from work when I literally just started.
Thank you!!
