Archived Target DC Orientation Question

Tomorrow I will be attending my orientation at the distribution center. Im just curious to know what I should wear and if I will be actually working at all?

I know I'm suppose to bring my two forms of ID and such.

@smashandthrash? I'd say comfortable, appropriate work clothes and shoes. Based on store orientations I don't see it being too involved. Paperwork, corporate videos, maybe a tour.

Dress how you normally would for a day of work. We have no strict dress code at the DC. Just wear a shirt with sleeves, a pair of pants/shorts that go down past your mid-thigh, and closed shoes. NO open toed shoes.

You will not be working. You will take a picture for your ID card and go through various orientation stuff with everyone from HR to maintenance.

You will learn what key and department you will work on (if you weren't given one already), when break times are, and what day you start. You'll sign some paperwork and agree to a wage. A trainer will meet you in the lobby on the first day, so don't worry about it too much. Good luck.
