Archived Transferring process

Hi everyone! I have been a cashier for almost a year now and was wondering how the transferring process is like. As in, I want to do something beyond cashiering at my store. I go to an "elite" university (whatever that means) and don't want to be stuck in the same position throughout all of college. Hopefully by then I'll have an internship with some company.

Is it easy to transfer from cashier to being a full-time summer GSTM or HRTM position if it say it's available online? Since I'm a college student, I would only work during breaks. Would that have an impact? thanks.

Look on ehr. You can ask your gas/gstl to do or learn other tasks.

Ask how you can be more 'global' (learning multiple areas).
Start in the front end - Service Desk, Photo, Carts, covering breaks for GSA, etc - then start helping in Softlines & Hardlines (zoning, putting away strays).
It's also good to help you pick up shifts when hours are cut & you become more of an asset to the store.

Absolutely no way HRTM if you plan to work only on breaks. The other positions you could.
