Archived Trend runs? Focals? Wha?

It just occurs to me that I don't actually know what trend runs and focals are, and I feel like I should. Are they just aisles and endcaps? Or what?

Trend runs are the aisles at the end of a block that face out onto the racetrack. Focals are those larger, fancier endcaps. The ones with tiers. At least that's how I think it works.

Trend runs are different if you're a home innovation store. Trend a and trend b face the dining flat, but they're not the same as trend runs in chain stores. Also there's no focals but several VIAs.

Correct. Focals are the three-sided endcaps.
