What does your store do to raise money for United Way? I and a couple others are in charge of it this year and would love to get some feedback on what other stores do

We don't do anything for united way drive any more. At another store, we did Penny drives. Big jar, added $10 of coin in it, then asked tm to add to it. This day and age where no one carries cash, I'm not sure if it would work...

Other than the yearly paycheck deduction drive-nothing.

We do a penny drive thing that's usually pretty fun. Each TL/ETL has their own jar, change adds to the total, dollars subtract. The TL/ETL with the most has to do something for a day (cart attendant, dress like a clown, etc.).

We did that drive as well. TL/ETL that had the most got a pie in the face.

We in the past have done penny wars, gift basket raffles, bake sales, car wash and furniture auctions. Brings in a decent amount!

So I'm thinking if you are in the north east you could make $5 clearing cars of snow...each storm.
