Archived Activists push for $15 minimum wage in Los Angeles

Wonder how Spot would react if this comes to fruition - I know I would attempt to transfer if the position was worth the commute!

There are three CityTargets in the city of LA that have only opened in the last couple years, and a myriad of regular stores in the Valley and one near South Central.

They just raised it to $9, and they're supposed to raise it to $10 in another year and a half. I don't think they're going to increase that any time soon since they can just say they're already working on it. $15 per hour would be far more livable, though, even with part-time hours. Right now, the amount I make in a month doesn't even cover rent.
