Welcome! Pfresh was a great concept for spot, at first.
No, it's in the second phase of the pilot right now. It's not looking good since the SVP that was running Target's grocery operations is leaving the company.is every store doing this..because for my store literally nothing has changed for market
Did the market roll out consist of any kind of fixturing? Or was it just the change of a name for people who are dedicated to market?
You are not supposed to zone at night anymore as an example, but most stores can't give up the idea of the store looking perfect at close (does the store looking perfect at 11PM drive sales?)
I wouldnt say they dont have the money for that...they certainly have the short term cash for it. As far as having the money long term in regards to it being successful.. that i would be unsure ofTarget just does not have the cash to carry out that kind of expansion on a massive scale.
I was talking about physically expanding stores, which would mean purchasing real estate, tearing down whatever might be in the way, and adding on to the building...for every store. That would have to cost in the tens of billions of dollars.I wouldnt say they dont have the money for that...they certainly have the short term cash for it. Oh, yeah. Might even be more than thatFigured this thread could use a bump since it's about to become relevant for most stores...

Has anyone had a successful market roll-out?
We haven't rolled out any of the new processes the pfresh team is scheduled under unload. For store that do not currently follow the new end to end practice, which work center do you schedule your pfresh truck? Unload or consumables?
at my store they always are under inventory ... i never understood this, but its been that way for 2 years nowWe haven't rolled out any of the new processes the pfresh team is scheduled under unload.
My district isn't rolling out until ~May. Do you end up getting more information than the general rollout packet/training packet/schedule tips? I feel like there could be more information, but knowing Target this will be my store's experience:
