Hello everyone.

I have been on LOA (it's considered personal) since May 9th and I am due back August 23rd). I got off furlough from my main job (i work with kids). I went on LOA to reduce the number of people I am around to prevent anyone at my school from getting COVID-19.

I have 2 questions if anyone can so kindly answer.

1: Can I extend my LOA?

2: If I can extend it, how long can I extend it for?

Thank you all

Person can be 180 days I believe but you could probably switch it to medical for Covid.

talk to your HR ASAP. Pay and benefits team doesn’t handle personal leaves

Will I be allowed to switch from personal to medical because I want to reduce my exposure to my family (both of my parents are in the high risk category to get covid-19) and the families/kids at my school?
