Just FYI, you can get your smoker status changed, but you have to go in and take a test that shows that you don't have nicotine in your body. Or, as others have said, wait until next enrollment.
 
It’s really annoying that the nicotine test can’t tell the difference between cigarettes and vape, get with the times already

The best way to find out is to log into the Target Pay and Benefits website and check your benefits eligibility during enrollment period. If you see a section on smoker status while enrolling, then you know that you will need to change it.

I had just part-time benefits at one point and saw the section about smoker status while enrolling.
