Reddit post. Insurance fraud at DCs?

400 people. 😫 I hope it's not my DC. All noobs loading the trucks at the DC will mean a rough unload at my store

That is an insane amount of people willing to lose everything for $3k.

But, in my personal experience at the store level, over the years -- lots of people fired for stealing & some arrested - but I don't know if charges are/were pressed.... if the dollar amount was significant enough.

There are so many mini scams like this that run rampant.

One of the big ones over covid was the daycare coverage. There were zero checks on any information entered so everyone and their mother (litteraly) were claiming they needed reimbursement for daycare services even with zero actual children.

I knew a guy who applied for it retroactively for the entire year and was just handed a $10k check for it lmao.

Target has great policies but it really bites them in the ass every time and that is why over time these amenities get lost/reduced/diminished.
