I know many of us just do it anyway, but if she was being bitchy I would have just told her “unfortunately you have to get the app and add the offers you want, otherwise you can’t get the discount.” I’m sick of holding guests’ hands. Not sure what guest service really could have done anyway.

Not at my store! We give them the discount if they can specify what offer and how much off. We don't dare say no to a guest!

Call AP and have them escort her out since she's causing a scene for not having the app. And she won't stop complaining when the fact is she doesn't have the app on her phone doesn't mean we can magically give her the discount. Then what would be the point of having the app if we're going to be using our phone for them. Unless I get a tip, I'm not using my app for them. And my phone is for personal use so I'm not going to use it for work. Same if I'm off and I want to buy something that's not out on the floor, I'm not going to go to the TSC to grab a walkie and call out the backroom with DPCI to get the item for me.

I forgot how much I hate summer because of all the kids randomly hanging out in the store. I feel for those who work in a store located in a mall. I do like to have fun with the kids. If they are destroying shit or acting stupid, whenever they ask me what the price is on something I just make it up. "How much is this pepsi?" Um $2.50. Then they won't buy anything and leave.
