12:30 finally clocked out frustrated as heck.

12:30??? In the morning???? Dear god I feel sorry for you. They've got me doing fitting room/operator closing shift all weekend every weekend, we close at 11pm and I'm getting chased out at 11:05 every night.

holy tuxedo coming a TM from a very high volume store you have every right to be frustrated! That is insane! I would not have had the patience you did.

on Sunday we had someone run out the door with a 55 vizio & I was up there our Food Ave TL was closing SCO & other TM said HE'S WALKED OUT THE DOOR WITH A TV. so then the Food Ave TL (with money in the bags) runs outside & the other TM said your going to get fired for taking the bags outside then she gives them to me & yells to our AP TM that JUST clocked out .... STOP HIM!!!!! AP drops his bag & starts running after the guy this idiot can't really control the cart while running toward the coffee shop on the corner the other TM & guest are standing there laughing at this guy we did get the TV

Happened tonight:
Guest tries to price match TV. Price match could not be done. She takes the TV and starts pushing it towards the door (without paying). ETL AP stops her and she justifies herself by saying "Oh I was gonna take it to (other Target in the area) and see if they would price match it".

Lol, how's GSA life?

So get this...

A few days ago we had a guest steal a freakin walkie and literally blast the floor with the audio from a pornhub video.

THIS IS WHY WE CANT HAVE NICE THINGS.

/ENDRANT

we had something similar to this happen at my store. it's happened a few times this week on all different days. they have used racist words over the walkie, made moaning sounds, and they keep calling out random questions and trying to get team members to go to a certain area of the store. ugh.

Also first thing this morning a TL drops a box of defectives at my desk and goes "watch out for the broken glass. Don't want you getting hurt." Thanks for going the extra mile, buddy.
I love how they will bring an unopened case that we both know from the sound there is a broken item. I tell them open it up and stock the non broken items. Then bring me the broken. OMG you think I'm telling them to handle the broken glass piece by tiny piece.
To which what happens is, box remains unopened until recieving is on day off and then it appears again sans pic labels forcing you to open it.

Been a month since we started the remodel and we haven't made much progress, they said the remodel will be going till the end of July but I HIGHLY doubt this - early September maybe. Apparently this is happening to all the stores. Someone accidentally sent the new labels and fixtures for Market (which is supposedly finished) to offiste and now part of the remodel team has to go through every aisle of Market to replace labels, do the price accuracy label and change the fixtures. We've been losing sales the past 2 weeks since guests are frustrated can't find anything as aisles are moved around every single day except weekends.

Don't really care about sales as I'm not hardlines anymore because at the end of the day, I'll still be getting near 40 hours every week, consistent early morning schedule and weekends off.

What work center did you switch to

The schedule has me under "Projects" but it's just a small team of people (only 10-12 people?) who volunteered or were approached to help with the remodel. Good thing I did too because a little birdie told me they started cutting hours for salesfloor due to losing sales by an average of 15k daily.

So much stupid little things in the last couple of days. The tipped over bag of some kind of grocery thing, negating the whole point of bagging it. That was a fun smell. Somebody tried to use my label printer for a flex order, without changing the tape. Then didn't clean up the ensuing pile of wasted paper. My printer doesn't recognize the paper tray. Again.

And then today a vendor we've never seen before shows up right before I go on lunch. Passed him off to the LOD, who handed him down to three different people. Something about his boss said they deliver to Targets now, nobody can find any planograms or info about this, I'm getting asked when I'm getting off lunch so we can try to check him in while they go ahead and give him an endcap even though nobody's sure the product will scan in.

But hey, now I know all about the new endcap thing for the grocery rollout and the fancy-ass page that lists vendors by store and their products! And got to find out that probably nobody else knows this is a thing, judging by the blank stares I got when bringing it up.

I'm so fucking done with this week already.

We had this, but was an employee who stole a walkie.

It might be a local vendor. Target had been pressing hard for popular local vendors for YEARS (they said), but never took it to heart till now it seems.

We had an EXTREMELY popular local Vendor who would always ask if he could get product into our store (he should have easily. Anyone in my city who sells food sells his brand except us, I fought MySupport a year and a half ago and now we have it.).

>first week of being a SLTM after two and a half years of flow
>easier job, better hours
>literally doing less and spending more time chatting
>getting more praise and thanks the entire time

Had someone playing "Fuck Donald Trump." once. Went looking for him around the store and AP was on it too but no luck. Probably went outside the store.

The STL at the huddle told us that the DTL said that the dress code doesn't seem to be really enforced and that is going to change starting now. So now we can't wear hoodies anymore, we cant wear red shirts with huge graphics on them or huge logos and that if we are on Pfresh - solid black beanie or a Target beanie.

We have so many TMs running around at my store wearing red shirts with huge logos for sports teams or other retail stores on them, it's not funny. Add black or gray hoodies/cardigans to the mix and half our TMs look like they're off the clock.

Its been a couple of months since anybody actually paid attention to soda so now a TL is angry about soda and there's talk about denying orders. Which has never changed anything. Because if I deny the delivery, there'll be a bunch of back and forth, the order will be accepted anyways, everyone will agree things will change this time and two weeks later we're back to the same old shit. Until a couple more months down the line when the cycle repeats.

Also fucking car seat program. It ended and everything was cleaned up. Then somebody got "word of mouth" that it was going to be an ongoing thing. But nobody has solid information on this, its just rumor at this point. And yet the box is out front again and I'm having to make room for yet another thing we don't have space for in the back.

And I wish they'd stop screwing with my schedule. I had a great couple of weeks, got a nice routine down, was getting caught up and getting ahead and next week I have days where I'm scheduled 6 hour days that end half an hour before the dock closes. Why.

I'm sick of receiving being an area everybody ignores until I can do something for them or something I did/didn't do is making them look bad but if I try to get them to do something and stick to it, too fucking bad.

Yeah the only ones who are allowed the non red hoodies are the market peeps cause they are usually pushing cooler/freezer and with the green metro racks you kinda know they are working.
