Is it against policy to take a picture of a new release item?

I took a picture of a Nintendo Switch that came in unpackaged today to show my roomate, not thinking before hand there may be some policy against that.

Ive never been told anything or heard anything against it but would be a good thing to know as a TM.

I think there is a policy against that, I don't remember specifically but I'm pretty sure it's in the social media guidelines or somewhere along there. As long as you don't post it anywhere or send it to anyone, you should be fine.

And yes, we do have better things to worry about! :D

Only thing I think they care about is not sharing any promotions or pricing and inventory amounts. Party of the whole protecting integrity thing. Just to be safe side don't go posting it all over social media and such until at least launch day.
