So i was asked to help a new store in town do "backroom profiling", i know my TLs just assume i know what im doing half the time because i just kinda wing it and im quick but honestly i'm pretty clueless on targets lingo. I asked for a explanation but was told it'd just be setting up the backroom with locations and setting the wacos, but i don't want to look completely lost. So any help is definitely appreciated, or any tips.

It's basically like setting a planogram for the backroom. I haven't done it in a long time but the frame for the light duty shelving should already be setup. There will be a diagram with the specific shelf heights and waco box arrangement. It's very easy to follow.

edit: You will have to pay close attention to labeling though. From what I remember, they just print a full set of labels for each 3-4ft section and you will want to make sure you don't stick the wrong ones on the boxes.
