What is the easiest way to pull a indyme button off the holder, so it can be reprogrammed?

Depends on how it's mounted. Some of ours are on a button hook (that goes into the keyhole on the back); some are on heavy-duty Velcro.

So I was on a computer in the TL office and there was a Excel document on the desktop called "Call Buttons." Curiosity got the best of me and I opened it. It's basically a chart of EVERY. SINGLE. CODE. for call buttons.

I heard there's a way to activate the buttons using a red phone. I tried dialing the code itself and #code but no dice. I'm just curious and would not do it again but I do wanna hear "Fast service needed in Meat" at my store. LOL. Meat is 466 if you wanna try it. I know you can program the call box itself but am not doing that.

There's buttons for EVERYTHING. Front lanes, front lanes green side, front lanes blue side, lower level, lower level parking entrance, lower lever mall entrance, upper level, upper level mall..., upper level parking..., mall entrance, side A, side B, front lanes grocery side, etc. and that's just half of the cashier alerts!

Apparently there are also spoken indymes for carry outs and they have them from lanes 1 to 50 plus bakery, coffee, deli, electronics, etc etc. and the same for clean ups.

Some of the call buttons I never heard of or are surprised about are furniture call button 3, tech toys, oral care, infant formula, office electronics, pegged camera, media cards, computers, under counter electronics, infant kiosk, a bunch of grocery aisles, cough and cold, electronics 2, diabetic, entertainment new releases, locked merchandise, personal care, pharmacy, pharmacy aisle, printer ink, shaver, sunglasses, one spot, watches, mp3, ready to wear 2, bodywear, gift decor, juice bar, plants, and table top. There are a bunch more. They also have codes for the registry kiosks at electronics, the first level, and the second level.

Also going back to cashier alerts, they have alerts for "Additional cashiers to the hoop hut" and "the Colorado lanes." WTF are those?

So interesting.

Sorry I know I'm bumping something from AGES ago but would dialing these numbers still work on the new phones?

It would be funny to reprogram one for the Condom aisle.

Judging by how half the little kids act in my Store act,I would reprogram the Toy's Call box to Condoms, if there was a call for that.

You will not be able to "reprogram" the call buttons, and don't even try messing with them. That's just asking to get written up or even fired. Even though it sounds harmless, they will take it seriously...Corporate monitors random store cameras and has a team specifically to monitor TMs...You're tampering with Target's infrastructure.

Someone tried doing this in our store last year and a couple minutes after they took the call bottom off the mount and started screwing with it, the AP-TL called him into the HR office and we never saw him again.

Doubtful. The phone callboxes have to be programmed by Black Box(?). Only the buttons can be programmed in-store.

Seeing as how there are instructions on workbench on how to reprogram call buttons...no one is getting fired over that. coaching, CCA, final warning maybe, but not immediate termination.

You may be able to type wiki into the address bar of a store desktop computer and end up on the target will page where a quick search for call buttons will tell you evening you ever wanted to know about the call buttons.... Just sayin

Why the hell would you need a carry out at photo? Inquisitive minds need to know.

Many stores have photo at guest service, and it doubles as a backup gs register.

I configured a callbox that I kept at the front lanes, that triggered "carryout at starbux". It got a lot of laughs.

I can't imagine any store big enough to need all of those :/

or any of them. Printer ink wtf why ONE SPOT???

A lot of them were prototype specific I think. There was a home furnishings call button at my super, but we have a domestics one at my PFresh. Has any other store all but done away with call buttons. We used to have like 8 just in electronics alone, but now the only call button besides the red phones is in electronics.

My store has Jewelry, Market, Household Chemicals, Home Improvement, Domestics, Toys, Sporting Goods, Electronics, Ready To Wear. I think that is it. We used to have one for each video game aisle as well as one in the boat. Our Electronics team would be pissed when they would be standing at the boat and two aisles down someone is hitting the Xbox call button.

My store has Electronics, Luggage, Stationary, Toys, Sporting Goods, Home Inprovement, Domestics, SEASONAL CALL BUTTON, Pets, Chemicals (cleaning supplies), market, and Infants.

Soon we get Fragrances and Bikes.
