Hey y’all!
I’m a DBO and when I start my day I’m to “guest ready”/zone and do 1-4-1’s.
Now I’m also supposed to to audit the department as well as scan out outs before dropping 1-4-1’s.
Does anyone have any tips on how to work this all in in a more efficient way?

Auditing and scanning outs can help by ensuring your getting the product out of the back room and auditing will help make sure your getting the right product in. Its a lot of work especially at first but it should reduce your workload in the long run. Be careful auditing before pushing your truck though to make sure you didn't get it in that day. I have my dbos update sfq , especially outs while zoning to make sure the pull is efficient. I then have them audit their aisle/s after they push the uboat for that area. Being a dbo is tough and requires you to be organized, accurate, and fast. The more organized and the more you know your area the faster you should go.
