Archived HRBP approval?

The schedule comes out every Thursday but today there is a print out saying something like "The schedule will be posted after HRBP approval"

Who is HRBP and why is the schedule waiting for them to approve it?. I've been at Target for 8 months and have not seen such a thing. Thanks.

Hrbp is the Human Resources Business Partner and they work with the ETL-HRs across a district (group of 8-10 stores) as a resource and a point of contact for serious HR matters.

The HRBPs review important schedules (like Black Friday, the week of Christmas) to make sure stores are scheduled well enough to meet the demands of business for the schedule period.
