In the news

I just read an article reporting this, it’s almost as unhinged and Starbucks requiring a personal message written on every cup
We're supposed to 'connect' with the guest, talk them into signing up for the Target app while scanning their SB app, taking their order & upselling product we're out of, write a cute message on their cup & get them out the door while dealing with drive-up orders.
Talk about putting the 'fun' in 'dysfunctional'........🙄

Business Insider was invited inside T557, the Oconomowoc RDC.

The reporting is obviously paid for by Target to try and get something positive going to counter the negativity, but its a good chance for store TMs to get a glimpse inside an RDC.

Why???? Why isn't the focus on providing a better shopping experience in the existing Target stores?
Minneapolis retailer plans new large-format stores

From one of the comments to that article:
Target management: "Our sales are down. We're losing money. What do we do?"
Marketing consultant: "Redesign your stores. Change how they look. That will bring in customers!"
Now where have we heard that before? And how many times?
