Archived Mystery raise???

A couple of pay periods ago I noticed that my paycheck was slightly less depressing than it usually is. First I thought it was that I was getting more hours. Upon further research I had noticed that my hourly went up a little bit. The "change" numbers in my pay rate were reversed ($.XY to $.YX). I don't know why, and I really don't want to go around asking my ETL-HR why. Any thoughts?

I had this happen to me like a year ago. I never wanted to ask but a month after i'd noticed the raise, the STL pulled me aside and told me target was "being competitive" with their wages and that I should be seeing a raise in my paychecks. I just nodded.

they probably just want you to spend more at Target, so it's a win win for the company, the more they pay you the more you spend at the stsore. lol
