So I'm in the middle of a full-store remodel. We're getting/have gotten

• Baby 360: Took about two days to set. Went well.
• A&A 2.0: Sort of started sort of haven't.
• Trend Spot: See pictures!
• Nodes: Not built yet.
• Home Innovation
• SCO Expansion: From 4 SCOs to 8!
• Gift 'n' Go: Not built yet.
• Beauty Blowout: Not built yet.

It's been a mess, but here's what new stores are getting:

We have a smaller MMB. See attached picture and diagram.

The giant blank pegboard is where the propaganda TV goes.

So this is not where our bath section is, it's a holding spot. But they took out the old red things on top of the gondolas and we have these now. On all of the backwalls. It's awesome.

Appliances off to the side mostly. Also you can see the lights in action. Seasonal will be roughly the same, with the white wall in the back and the giant tracklights above.

To show how outdated our fixtures are I got a fitting room door I ordered recently that doesn’t even match our current prototype. Most of our fixtures can’t be ordered anymore. Our A&A still has the gray uprights and I end up getting gondola white ones when they come in. Our fitting room seats aren’t even orderable anymore either.

I read that red color promotes anger and stress so they are going for gray. I guess they still want you to be angry in Electronics & front end, though. Haha.

They should really go for soothing colors at the front end since they refuse to schedule enough cashiers.

Looks like the aecond remodel we had almost 3 years ago. Being a pilot store sucks sometimes. $35+ million for 2 remodels within 5 years of one another. Pain in the ass.

I for one wish Target would go for a dim look throughout the store.

I’ve been trying to look on workbench to see if our store is getting a remodel but I can’t find the list of stores, and the only thing I’ve heard is our STL saying we might get one, he doesn’t know for sure. He said this like 2 or 3 months ago so idk

Fun fact: The color gray that Spot is going with is called “Battleship Gray”

If you so choose to try to find it at your local paint supply company, I’d suggest asking for “Prison Bar Gray” to get a better result.
