MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Anyone know if Battleships for the pegboard can still be ordered or if they are even a thing anymore?

Why? Why did they take away the ability to print labels for a POG before tying it?

Why did they take away the ability to view upcoming POGs for a given DPCI? Why do I have to not only tie the POG, but click all the way through the "finalize build" step--thereby dropping a priority fill--before anything, including ISM elements, will show as belonging to that POG?

Is this supposed to deter those of us who "cheat" the guided process by setting our POGs independently and refusing to tie shit until we're good and ready to pull priorities and not a minute sooner?

Is there not a single person at HQ who has ever actually set a POG? Is anyone at HQ within five degrees of separation from someone who has ever actually set a POG?
You can print POG labels.

Go to Set POG
Choose the POG for which you want to print the labels
Select “program detail And support “
Select “POG detail page “
Select “print”
Select “all labels “

That works for revisions and pretied transitions or anything with an intended location. It doesn't work for anything without an intended location like sidecaps which make no sense to pretie.

Anyone else think it's stupid that the new guided POG process has setting the ISM AFTER setting the product?

Or maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I thought it again today while setting an end cap. Of course, it makes sense to put up backer paper, place table tents, etc. before filling the shelves. (Or egads, placing pegs on the backer board before putting up backer paper.) So that's what I do. But the guided POG thing has it backwards.

Yeah they know. Its on the list to fix by 2027. 🤣

IDK.

: skip, skip, skip, all set :

{I don't even read the guided POG information.}

It makes no sense to pre tie but it would be so much nicer to print all the labels at once. Instead of after each tied location. Especially when setting a million side caps.

Stationery revisions for next week are UTTERLY TRASH. Doubling up bags on the same pegs, Items are NOF, random shelf of a new brand (?) in the last section I gotta fit in somewhere. Ughhhhhh.

I haven’t taken a look at the pogs yet but I’m wondering if the fixtures you’re talking about are similar to the waterfall fixtures style uses. To support two dpcis on the pegs. 🤔 I really need to look into that. We set it on Thursday
