Does anyone have any info or updates from the Target Together meeting (formally Fall National) that is happening this week? I wonder if they have any changes coming up.

Big theme this year was nothing new. Retail fundamentals and such. Was mostly about Q4 previews for ISM, company strategy and such. Only thing announced was cuddle collab which is public now and we got a sneak peak at a bunch of the stuff they are releasing in partnership with Wicked.

Honestly the most important exciting thing they mentioned was that 7x11s will transition to sticky signs later this year. They said it as a casual joke and it actually got a standing ovation.

You can watch any of the general sessions as they’re all recorded now on SharePoint if you look up target together.

Oh that's not everywhere yet? We have had them for a few weeks and there good I guess. If you don't take them down right you will leave part of the adhesive behind and I am fairly certain that is going to accumulate over time. They don't make sense in places like the TV wall however.

Goo Gone will remove that adhesive no problem! We used to have that build up with the old sales signs before we switched to the 3x2s. We maybe didn't clean the peg label fronts and would toss if they were really bad, but the label strip fronts got wiped down every set.

I am saying that they rip so its not just residue its part of the sticker, the front, non-sticky part and all. You have to pull them off upwards instead of to the side.

We have not had any issues at all really. They are pretty good, besides the sticky part tearing if you don't take it off correctly.
At my store, they will leave that sticky part. They have no care for cleanliness or having things look nice. Heck my plano TL doesn't believe it's his job to fill aislesafter he sets them. Leaves them empty and keeps moving on.

Depends who's taking ad down - this past Sunday, I found more than a few 3x2 signs and a pile of 7x11 signs left up. The weird thing about the 7x11s though is that some of the signs were taken out of the sign holder, but the holders were left in place. Some had the expired signs still in them. And they took some down entirely, sign and holder. I'd say it was done by more than one TM, but sometimes it'd be mixed up like this in the same aisle.
As for Plano not pulling a batch for a newly set aisle, that's missing the best opportunity to change SFQs if needed and make sure the number of facings actually works.
