To That One Guest - II

TTOG shopping for a Shipt order: Maybe next time actually take the time to read the box before you come get me and say you can't find something? The product was right where it was supposed to be, but you had to pick up the box to see the 0.35 ounce part that was hiding behind the self-pusher fixture to know if you'd found the right thing.

TTOG who purposely didn’t pay attention to me saying my lane is closed, I don’t feel bad for you having to put everything back in your cart and wait in line again. I told you multiple times that I’m closed and my light was off. I legally had to go to lunch very soon. We (for some reason I don’t understand) had multiple other lanes open at the same time with no wait. For some reason you wanted to make me late for my lunch. You had options I didn’t

Some guests have complained to me about the ice cream. I tell them store brands aren't usually high quality.

One exception is Aldi Specifically Selected.

Even the name brands aren't that high quality, although Tillamook comes close to the ice cream of that size. Dryer's and Breyer's are far behind, although the latter used to be high quality until Unilever bought them out.

If a guest asks me for a recommendation, I would say if you have ice cream just for yourself, try some of the classic flavors of Haagen Dazs, which has only all natural ingredients.

There's no such thing as a 1.5 L ice cream but there is a 1.5 quart version.
Pro ice cream tip: Say it then look it up OVERRUN, STABILIZERS

And the gums are stabilizers which Tillamook, Dreyers/Edy's and Breyer's have. Aldi Specialty Selected vanilla 48 -- in addition to some others flavors I think -- and some of Haagen Dazs ice cream just have natural ingredients such as cream and eggs. But, yes, do look at the ingredients list.

Some people complain Haagen Dazs is hard to scoop out. But that's because it's solid ice cream. In other words, it doesn't have any overrun.

The differentiating factor between ice cream and frozen dairy dessert is the butterfat content. Not a purist here, grocery store house brands are good enough for this old redneck. Weis has a rather nice low fat low sugar product, reasonably priced with unfortunately only four flavors. We tried Tillamook, nothing to get excited over. Trendy woodsy name with a chunky cylindrical package with nice pictures. Next time I get ammo at Wally I'll pick up a container of Great Value I/C and give it a try.

TTOG - yes, I have to card you for cough medicine. No, I can't take a picture of your ID. No, actually, I DO have to card you for this, the prompt is right on the screen.

Guy kept insisting I didn't need to card him and I just called a manager over and told them the guest refused to produce ID so they knew the shit they were walking into.

Absolutely HATED this when I was in the front end.

TTOG: No we don't have chewable carotene or any type of "just carotene" product. (Wouldn't be at all surprised if it's contained in some of the other vitamin products though.) Sorry that you apparently misread your search results incorrectly, but go ahead and look around as long as you like.

TTOG: Really, you think it's cool to leave a pomegranate with a long slice in one side just sitting on a shelf? Were you playing catch with it? Because it looked like maybe it had hit the edge of a shelf, and broke open enough that it splattered some juice on the shelf and nearby product and then leaked more juice where it sat all night.
Fortunately, the product was in plastic bags [Quest protein chips] and I could clean off the dried juice. But it wasn't the kind of thing I needed to deal with today. Go somewhere else with your obnoxious behavior.

Carrots have carotene and are chewable. Target does sell these. You could have taken her to the carrots LOL. My apologies if you don’t like my smart ass humor.

To All Those Guests calling about the damn bears: They're gone, we're not getting any more & NO, there aren't any 'hidden away'. They were gone within the first half hour after we opened & going for $400 online before day's end.
Idiots.

The mug thing again? Like the coffee mug bullshit last year? I use my black Texaco gas station coffee mug daily for the last 25 years. I think I got it free when I filled up the car. People are insane.

TTOG: Over the years I've been at Target, I've found some kinda gross things left behind on shelves. But a used q-tip? And not just a little used - both ends were covered with your ear wax. The restroom by the pharmacy was just a few steps away. There's a spill station with a trash bin nearby as well. But leaving it on a shelf is what you thought was acceptable.
Nope, that's disgusting.

TTOG who used the restroom today see a doctor. I had to ask our PML how to flush it. I ended up plunging it. I don’t know how you produced it. See a doctor. It spilled out of the toilet. You need to see a doctor

I first thought it was a TikTok prank due to the size
Okay, so this is the kind of thing no one likes to talk about, but back when I did in-home elder care, one of my clients really was a "little old lady" with dementia. I was there in the early mornings to prepare her breakfast, help her wash up and get dressed, and then I dropped her off at a day care facility. (Her daughter lived with her and worked during the day.)
Anyway, she had infrequent BMs, only one every 3 or 4 days. And I was with her for only a few hours per visit, 3 days a week. So it didn't happen very often but it finally did and I was amazed at the size of it. How does a tiny woman produce such a big poop?! It really was impressive. Because she had mobility issues and the only bathroom in the house was upstairs, there was a commode on the first floor that she used once she was downstairs for the day. That turned out to be a good thing because it allowed me to flush it in smaller pieces; I think it would have clogged the toilet to try and flush it all at once.
I tell you what, that job really was fun in some ways and I met a lot of very interesting people. But some tasks were not so great; that one was one the more memorable ones with a high "ick" factor.

Did you check the pharm shelves for empty docusate sodium and sennosides 50mg & 8.6mg respectively. It's the bomb.
