Since soon I'll be moving to the floor I was just wondering about the shifts , is it afternoons always or also mornings?

How is it usually? Like say 5pm - 11pm. I was told that there 3 shifts lile opening, afternoon and night.

All stores are not the same, but! At my store:

-opening: 8/9AM to 3:30/4:30 PM
-mids 10/11 AM to 6/7 PM
-close 4:30-5:30PM to 11:30PM-12:30AM

The mid shifts at your store will vary with whatever your store's peak hours are.

If you just started, you will more than likely will be working closing shifts where you will train to finish pulls, zone, and reshop.

So hours will be 330-11 if hours are good. But more than likely you will work 430-530 to 11.

At my store, sales floor shift times vary wildly. It depends on how many hours are allocated to the workcenter and how your store schedules the shifts.

At my store, salesfloor doesn't come in until 12:30 when the first set of CAFS are ready. We generally have one TM for hardlines, plus SLTL & HLTL and that's it until about 4-5pm when the closers come in. My store doesn't schedule for the FR anymore, so it's pretty bareboned during the days now.
