tomorrow I'm scheduled till 8 & I want to leave at 6 (for family reason) & I told my leader that I can stay longer on Christmas Eve . He said it was prob good he just had to check one thing and to call him during week since I don't work till weekends & he was always busy when I called & I left message but never called back. so should I just leave @ 6 tomorrow ?

If you cant get ahood of anyone today to get it soreted (either your lod or hr) then get with the lod as soon as your shift starts tomorrow and explain the situation. Clear Communication prevents troubles down the road

Yes, definitely ask about it as soon as you get in. Or, call early and see if they could use you earlier than scheduled, if you can do that.
