If any of you know, where can I order an 18inch electric line piece? I can’t find it.

    Logistics Unload issues

Also we have no electric line. Can’t find one to fit an 18 inch line.the unload is out of bay 2 as we don’t have enough extenders to go to bay 1, however I’ve heard that didn’t even make a difference when they tried.

    Logistics Unload issues

Anyone else have to work with a perpendicular line to the bay doors? There is such a curve that boxes get stuck and we have to use payroll for an additional person just to push boxes through the curve and it just takes longer overall. Any solutions you all have found?

Archived In need of some help

I just took over in hardlines at my store from gstl. I am currently in charge of all stationary, kitchen, and all domestic areas. I came on board right in the middle of huge transitions and opal house. I feel almost overwhelmed with having to worry about all the POG’s (I scheduled the hours but...

    Archived Upcoming ETL interviews

Hey all, So I have ETL interviews coming up around Feb or March and just wanted to get some takes on the whole process and what I should be ready for. I'm an internal promotion in my district and so I'm sure will be competing with other internal/external candidates. So some questions I have...

Archived Target no longer marking toys as being for boys or girls.

How does this have anything to do with politics? I'm a conservative when it comes to politics and respect targets decision because it's based on economics, not catering to a certain political ideology. Target makes its decisions for one primary purpose...to make money. That's all their decisions...

Archived Why does Target seem to struggle to make ends meet. Especially with having enough employee

Believe it or not but I send em back there to pull and backstock for my endcaps all the time :). Also, the team members do pull what they need off the truck what they need for outs.

Archived Why does Target seem to struggle to make ends meet. Especially with having enough employee

Store modernization is working fine at my store....I don't get how some of your stores don't get the zone or research done. That's the first thing our team does when they come in...truck takes a backseat to zone, research, and stray. Many days truck isn't even done being unloaded completely...

Archived No one wants to be me

Unfortunately for you, you misinterpreted the sarcasm. We don't have TL's over those areas as we don't have them! There is no flo team, there is no backroom team at our store. Everyone is expected to push freight, pull batches, zone, backstock for their respective areas. It's called e2e maybe...

Archived No one wants to be me

Flo and BR TL? We are e2e so we don't have those? And what exactly do they have to do that we don't? I set all my own pogs, have to do all my own pulls, work out all the candy, do all checklane fills. Plus all the guest garbage that comes with being a gstl. And no, you don't just get to say yes...

Archived No one wants to be me

So as the title states no other TL in the store wants to be me. I am a gstl. I am also a Senior so I have LOD shifts as well ( I don't mind these, they can be interesting). I always hear TL complain about all their sales planners, workload for seasonal, truck push, stray, zone, among a couple...

    Archived Ad Comp

Ad comp is a percentage based on how much your store made on that same day last year. If the number is red or in parentheses, that means you made less this year than last year on that day. If it's not then you made more or equal to. :)

I see a dating thread but what about being friends? Can a TL and an AP TM be friends outside of work? Or does the dating thread pertain to any type of relationship outside of work?

    Archived Truck days

looking for advice from people who work in e2e stores and are LOD in the morning in truck days. What are your routines? What types of questions do you ask your Team Leads? What do you follow up on? What do you prioritize? How do you get through the process in order to make sure your handoff...

    Archived Rewarding and recognizing

Id like to have some takes on this topic as it seems to be one of a lot of different opinions. Obviously as it states, I am a SR. GSTL. I run the largest work center in the store (TM size wise with 31 people on my team including the GSA's). That means many different personalities and drama. I...

    Archived College degree

I never said it "entitled" me to anything. I think the amount of work I do on a regular basis far outweighs that of some of the ETL's at my store (and that's according to another ETL). I just was wondering if it would be something I should inquire about or wait until more time has passed since...

    Archived College degree

I'm not quite sure why you seem so defensive about my post as I am not "bragging" about having a degree but saying I haven't interacted with a single person in my position that has a degree. All the degreed people in the few stores I've been at went straight to ETL. I was more wondering if I...
