If a TM gets promoted to a TL position how much is the raise?does it depend on the district or the store volume?

$1 (if you're a paygrade 3). It used to be $3 (from base pay), but that changed last year. I have yet to hear anyone promote since then, but I have a feeling they'll have a hard time hiring anyone at $1, so it is probably up for negotiation more than the $3 raise was. It varies slightly by market.
Quite greedy, as we've all seen as of late. How greed can corporate get?

WTF??? Are you kidding me??? Serious question. Are you joking or not? How did that change?
I was hoping to go back to TL in the long term.... but WTF? For $1? Who would do that? No way would it be worth it.
Many years ago when I promoted to specialist I got a $2 raise and when I moved up to TL it was another $3. And now a jump from TM to TL is $1? How greed can corporate get?

How in the world can they justify a $1 raise for all the added stress and responsibility? I mean, I know people are desperate but $1 over base is just plain disrespectful.
Thanks to everyone here for the comments-I have friends and family who get on me once in a while about not striving more on the job to take on additional duties or go for a position of more responsibilty or (mostly imaginary or illusory) respect, authority, and prestige. Suffice it to say, they just don't get it. It's wonderful to be thought of as someone who can handle more responsibility, but at what price...?
Kinda heartbreaking, but also bittersweetly funny for me-I make about the same per hour NOW as I did as...basically a 2nd tier asst. mgr., at LackLuster Video OVER TEN. YEARS. AGO.
The last time I made what, for ME, is "good" money? Scrubbing toilets and slinging trash. Go figure. ( Course I probably spent any extra cash I had on exfoliating scrub, deodorant, and non-chlorine bleach... )
OK, rant over. Thanks, breakroom forum!!! 🙂
