MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Anyone get all the signing done today? I just need to do the headers/tree labels (when they are built) and attach the big tree table's shippers after the vmtl is finished decorating it. Sooo much easier to hang stuff up when the wave can go right next to the table. I think everyone passing by seasonal hated the white tree though.

I got rear seasonal overheads up, plaid down, toy catalog up. Finished building one tiered endcap. Some moving of Halloween stuff. The team got the wrap bins finished. I had one round bin already built Saturday. I think the other tiered endcap was built today. Which leaves the rest of the overheads, the other round bin and trees.
 
did you guys received the whole shipper for premium wrap? for some reason I only received the right side of the shipper, im missing the center and left side. Im missing alot for seasonal.

I had three boxes for it. Instructions were in the third one we opened. Lol.
 
@kangkang im missing a bunch of stuff too. I reordered a bunch of my stuff and as soon as I did some of the stuff actually came in. I expect I'll have some duplication. Better than none. My pog TL and team put up tons of stuff so if parts are missing I'm unsure.
@fx0007 I got up all the overheads (except seasonal) and doorclings. Built the toy catalog stanchion. And set up for tomorrow. Plus got out all the stuff for pog.
Answered a few questions and scoured Nonsupport. Does anyone have directions for the they playground they can PM me? I have no idea how to put dogs together. No directions in box= i can't even gangue a fair guess. Nonsupport is sorry and will look into the problem. It took them exactly 5 days to let me know that BTW. Help would be much appreciated!

How long ago was it supposed to come in? I didn't wait because it was xmas. I'd order it. Better 2 than none. Do you check off on your invoice what comes in? I was told u have 2 weeks on date of invoice to order.

One box had the directions for one spot. Out of like a dozen boxes. My problem is they only show the new mini gondola setup, but we aren't getting it. I'll worry on Thursday when we start the set.

I got the rear seasonal ones, but not mini? Not even sure which is which, but the pic showed it over the rear flat so i put it there. Now I've got an empty cse board near mini. Did get the tv wall ones.

Also no entry stuff? Missing or not planned?
 
The fos overheads were in the thanksgiving box, unless your store has two entrances in which case you get both a thanksgiving and a christmas overhead for fos.

Thanks. Last thing I got to was checking that box for placement. Dtl was specific about Christmas signing so I was going nuts.

Mini seasonal signs were on the pallets I got today as well, so I managed to cover my naked cse board before the big visit.

Now to get the adjacency fixed so I can build the sugar paper focal.
 
Apparently there's a "temp" shipper that's supposed to go on the checklanes that will change POGs till the end of the holidays.. Anyone know what this is supposed to look like? I think I'm supposed to put HDMI cables stuff on there..
 
I saw one today with sherbet colored phone accessories...didn't come through me though. Came prefilled as far as I know.

The shipper for Halo. Its signing can be changed throughout the holidays. Dont throw it away!!

No, like 30 minutes?. Give or take. Depends on your perfecection rating. I didn't time it. Did it while store was closed. Pull off bottom of cling, kneel, throw it over your head, center, secure, use white things to flatten. Box cutter to pop bubbles if desired. I had to slash about 4/5 inches of the tip of tree. Too tall for door. It took around the same amt of time the storm troopers took.... Probably less. They are thicker like the now hiring signs. I laughed when I saw how long it should take. AFTER I put it up. I pulled up back of cling a little at a time. One I did all the way. I preferred a little at a time.
 
All of my trees did not fit on the tables. I also got both fos overheards. The thanksgiving and Christmas. I only have one entrance. Did we get an urgent ebatch for the 7x11 signs for the trees this year? It sucks that we didn't get a map layout of where exactly the trees go on the tables this year.

Both the round trim standalone focals ask for the same tree display (1304) to be built into them, but they only sent us one. I wonder if it was supposed to have a different tree and they just wrote the pog incorrectly, since it came the same day as another tree display (1303). Taking down the plaid overheads took me like 3 hours, but I was using the wave to make sure none of the hooks snapped by just letting them fall down. Luckily my store has two in the backroom so nobody complained about it missing.

Did you find out about the trees for round focals? Going to be working on them in the next day or two...
