The instructions are horrible on how to set up the tracks (bad image quality and left a lot of steps out). We finally got it working after an hour of troubleshooting and it only lasted a day or two. Waste of money honestly.

Yes. Its called "consumer activation". The transition guide page talks about it with a link to a special projects page. Its designed to add space to rapidly growing categories (think wellness and health stuff in OTC and sporting goods).

From what Ive picked up on it will be personal care (probably the smallest of the projects), baby hardlines, OTC (potentially adding taller gondolas in front of CVS, a major reflow of snacks, maybe toys in the summer, and the biggest project being sporting goods/tech/entertainment which will probably be the biggest transition we've ever done at store level.

For all the times we've reduced space for books on the salesfloor over the years, we've never shrunk the backstock space; it remains the same and is always packed full. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think thats part of the plan. Pretty sure they're expanding collectibles/trading cards and moving the adult/party games (like Cards Against Humanity) into current entertainment.

I think it's all during their normal time of year. Baby in March, toys in July, tech in fall. You're right about home. Fan central moves back to specialty with many stores getting a shop in bedding near style.

Certain team members at my store should know- the rest.. not so much, since i wouldn’t trust them to do it correctly with how they already take shortcuts with other work.

I think I’m the only team member who knows how to do gondolas since I always used to do the swaps with my PML every seasonal set and built a few myself

Anyone else noticing that labels for end caps are printing out of order? Set a few yesterday and labels were in wacky order. They started out not in order, then they went along like they should, and then there'd be a couple near the end that shouldn't have been there.

Seems like this happened a while back but then it was normal again.

Our game day map has the ODL on it - part of it is ODL, the other is game day

And every POG for 1/4 exists on the Game Day adjacency - it’s half game day half ODL

Game day sets 12/28 and ODL sets 1/4 same map. Make sure you’re not adding plu or ncf toys to the game day set. It will be double work.
