MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

Sort of wish I could somehow be on LOA for a few months during all this new transition stuff because my store is going through a remodel this spring. It was pretty miserable the last time - so much noise and some departments got put in temporary spaces so no one knew where anything was. Add to that a signage transition and it's just more confusing.

Has any one tried the new presentation myday update yet? I think it's rolling out officially in a few days. So far, it's looks promising makes finding pogs like temp side caps a lot easier and pogs easier to untie etc. still wished they get rid of the steps guided processes all together but oh well

: scroll, scroll, scroll :

Damn, I missed it. What # was that sidecap again? Switches back to scan the sidecap shipper, and then back to set workload to scroll through 80 sidecaps that aren't always listed in numerical order.

: heavy sigh :

I have some of these at my store already! HQ came in and swapped out a bunch in Beauty/Haircare months ago and dumped the ISM they took down into the fixture room without telling any of us whether it was garbage or not.
That’s when I throw it right into the compactor.

I do that with signing people dump in the fixture room. If you needed it, shouldn’t have dumped in there.

Presentation TLs. Do you and your team push all the transition freight from all the transition sets you do? Or does truck and/or fufilment help push. Does your SD/ETL make you fully responsible for all the freight?

We try to push our own freight whenever possible, but when we can't inbound or GM helps us out. It's been difficult lately with the seasonal/mini and toys set honestly. Target needs to better spread the workload out as in not having a whole mini/seasonal/temp sidecaps/bpg all in one week. This might work for stores with a large presentation team, but our store only have 2-3 available at one time. Also when things don't salvage in a timely manner that also holds us back from setting early. Doesn't help when every few years, Target likes to add more things to our best practice list 🙃

We also try to push it but during these huge weeks we're taking a ton of resources from the truck team to set that we need the help somewhere. Smaller volume stores dont have the payroll to support a massive POG team and truck team for 45 weeks of the year.

can anyone send my store 601 center divider pushers? I need them for the upcoming deodorant transition 🙄🙄

I really hope target is sending these or else we are screwed

They do; but ours goes from 2 sections for female deodorant to 3 sections, and 2 sections for male deodorant to 4

Ah, I see. My store already expanded to those larger footages during our remodel a couple years ago. If for some reason we would expand again, we at least have an entire pallet of extra pushers from remodel should they not get sent. I know my store is not part of the special project in PC so I think we're probably not going to see quite as many major changes as others who are.

Why?! There aren't already enough choices? Or are those sections no longer just deodorant and have others products in some shelves? Already, guests stand in front of those sections for a long time, either looking for what they've been using or trying to decide with so many choices.

When I did a glimpse at the pog, it looks like it’s all deodorant
