MEGATHREAD Signing Tips, Tricks and Quips (along with howls of despair)

How did any other stores put up the panel packer paper for lashes & nail care? Ours are to short to cover the entire panel unlike the packer paper for the panels one of the skincare POGs that set on beauty transcend panels.
Same as we handle backer paper shortage anywhere else: we covered the top of the panel, leaving the nekkid portion at the bottom where it's the least conspicuous.

Are you guys able to set cosmetics within the time it's given? We took a lot longer then expected this year. I don't know if it takes into account the amount of cleaning, priorities, finding the correct fixtures etc. it was pretty stressful with all the other sets happening.this week.
The cosmetics set is its own type of migraine. We barely finished cosmetics but didn't finish for the week even though we started early, which didn't go over well.

Has anyone started the consumer activation hoohaw yet?I'm curious how much fun it will be?
We are fully set in personal care (minus the new endcaps for 3/1) - Moved on to our pets transition now.

Wasn't too bad. Made my ETL order more pushers via Fuse since we didn't get enough.

Also make sure you got 4 sidecap fixtures for the new 64" aisle in PC - Front and Back Endcaps call for the sidecap fixtures

Who's ready for the store use ISM refresh next week??

We are opting not to take anything out of the boxes- the pallets came in mostly organized already (same for the ISM boxes) and if we don't use all the fixtures they will be much easier to store in their original cases up top in our fixture room. I have grey bins empty for any residual ISM not used.

I will be setting up all the new style table signs tomorrow; I'm excited for these--they look great, way more of a finished look than our current cardboard that doesn't stay rigid. GM has a team coming in next week for the rest of the store.

What's changing on the GM side besides the outriggers?

We didn’t even get our table signs for style. I’m dreading it because they have people purging signing who don’t know what they are doing.

I told them to skip certain departments and I’ll purge it instead.

I’m spear heading the ISM refresh since we get in before our lead on Sundays. VM was saying how many of our walls aren’t the right type for this stuff and I’m low key dreading this not going smoothly.

Which walls? The back walls don’t get any headers (or outriggers I believe )

The low gondolas get certain outriggers but if you have the old metal entertainment shelves it won’t work for them
