Archived Applying for Corporate Positions

My spouse is employed at a Target store as a SLTL (18 months in) and found a position at corporate that she'd like to apply for. Does she need to go through internal HR to apply or can she just go on the public Target careers website and apply?

Corporate positions are through a different hiring system than JAS so he would need to apply online.

I believe the home store will be notified of her intentions automatically so it's better to tell them.

I’m assuming she’s in MN. If her HR Director is a certain someone, gooooood luck to her. I obviously won’t say names, but there’s one HR Director that makes it almost impossible to get to headquarters. She’s the worst. Have your spouse apply anyways! Good luck!
