Archived Does your electronics have shelves that don't go up very high?

All the shelves in electronics in my store are the height of the shelves in the movie section.

From an AP standpoint, I am very glad the remodels lowered the shelf height. Lower shelf height creates the feeling of being more out in the open and helps to deter theft activity.

How are the kids going to make their parents buy the games if they can't see them?

Yeah, ours are only about 5 feet tall.

From a camera standpoint I like the shorter shelfs. PTZ can cover pretty much everything.

From a floor walking standpoint it actually makes my job harder. Taller aisles I can use to my advantage and observe through holes in the peg wall. Short aisles make that nearly impossible.
